A:Ladies, gentlemen and colleagues, good morning. Welcome to the press conference. Present at today''''s press conference are the team leaders, coaches and some competitors. We''''ll give you some information on China Team''''s composition, competitors and their sports. First of all, let me invite China''''s Team Leader to brief on the team''''s composition, the competitors and their sports. 女士们，先生们，各位同行，上午好。欢迎出席今天的新闻发布会。出席今天新闻发布会的有领队，教练和部分运动员。今天向你们介绍中国队组成、运动员组成和他们的参赛项目等情况。下面请领队介绍中国队组成、参赛项目和运动员等情况。
B:China Team is composed of 2 team leaders, 3 coaches and 25 competitors,… doctors and… officials, 30 members in all and will compete in the events of… and so on. 中国队有2个领队、3个教练、25个运动员和医生、工作人员……，共由30人组成，将参加……等多项比赛。
A:Now, let me ask the Deputy Team leader to give you some information on the matters relating to the team''''s participation in the Tournament. 下面请中国队副领队介绍有关参赛中的其他事项。
B:This is a very special and important Tournament for China team and we have a lot to do and many things to take care of. 这是一次特殊的重大比赛。对中国队意义很大，有很多事要做，很多方面需要特别注意。
A:Now, you are kindly requested to raise questions. 现在，请记者们提问。
B:I am a correspondent of CNN. I want to know how many foreign teams are in the Tournament and what their levels are. 我是美国有线电视网记者。请问领队，有多少外国队参加这次比赛？他们的水平如何？
A:There are sixteen foreign teams in the Tournament and most of them are of top level. 有16支外国队参赛，大多数是世界高水平的队伍。

B:The competitors of our counterpart have long been at the top level of this sport and we have learned a lot from them both in techniques and tactics. 我们的对手一直是这个项目里的一流选手。我们在技战术方面向他们学了不少东西。
A:What are your feelings now? And what''''s your plan for the future? 您现在的心情如何？今后你们有什么打算？
B:We are very much excited to get the gold medal. But we will continue to make further efforts for better results and more outstanding performance, just as the Olympic motto goes: faster,higher and stronger. 夺得金牌我们非常激动！我们还将不断努力，争取更好的成绩和更出色的表现。就象奥林匹克格言所说的那样：更快、更高、更强。
A:Are there any awards for the athletes winning gold medals? 他们得了金牌有什么奖励吗？
B:The gold medallists who have won glory for the country will be given honors by the state and the people in addition to the material rewards for sure. 对那些为国家争了光的金牌获得者，国家和人民将会给予他们应有的荣誉，当然也有一定的物质奖励。

3.Interview after losing 失利后采访
A:How do you feel about losing today competition? 今天你们比赛失利，有什么看法吗？
B:First of all, I''''d like to congratulate the winning team. They really did quite well today. However, we were not in very good condition and too nervous today. This had an impact on our team. 首先祝贺取得胜利的运动队。他们今天发挥得十分出色。我们今天状态不太好，过分紧张，影响了比赛。
A:Do you have any comments regarding today''''s loss? 今天你们那里发挥得不好？
B:Our team was not well prepared mentally and was a little weak both in stamina and technique compared to the opponent team. 我们队心理准备不够充分，在耐力和技术上与我们对手相比也显不足。
A:Do you feel bad about losing the gold medal? 你们与金牌失之交臂，感到遗憾吗？
B:Though we were not lucky enough to win the gold medal, we tried our best and got a silver medal which is still our best achievement, We shall make more efforts in the years to come. 虽然我们没拿到金牌，但是我们已经发挥出自己的水平。这块银牌也是我们的最好成绩。我们以后还将继续努力。
